• Studio Rules

To keep Flying Foxes Studio safe, respectful, and inclusive, we ask that all students and visitors follow these rules:

    Respect the Space

No outdoor shoes in the studio unless required for a specific class (e.g. heels classes).

Clean poles and any equipment used with the provided spray and cloths after each session.

Do not apply oils, lotions, or fake tan on the day of pole or aerial classes — they create a slip hazard.

No food or chewing gum in the studio area. Water is permitted.

    Respect Yourself and Others

Remove all jewellery before class, including rings, bracelets, watches, and dangling earrings — this is essential for safety and equipment care.

    Always complete the instructor-led warm-up and cool-down.

Do not spot, coach, or instruct others unless you are a qualified teacher.

All students are expected to treat each other and instructors with kindness and respect. Flying Foxes is a body-positive, LGBTQIA+ friendly, inclusive space.

    Privacy and Consent

Do not film or photograph other students without their clear and express permission.

Ask your instructor before filming or photographing your own training.

Any media shared on social platforms must be respectful and must not include others without their consent.

    Personal Belongings

Store your belongings in the designated areas.

Flying Foxes Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

    Attendance and Timekeeping

Arrive on time. Late arrivals may be refused entry for safety reasons.

If you are attending for the first time or feel nervous, you are welcome to arrive a few minutes early to get settled.

    Terms & Conditions

By attending classes or booking studio time at Flying Foxes Studio, you agree to the following:

    Booking and Cancellations

All sessions must be booked and paid for in advance through our booking system.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the start of the class will be credited.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before class or no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Health and Participation

You are responsible for ensuring you are fit and healthy enough to participate.

Participation is at your own risk. Flying Foxes Studio is not liable for injuries sustained in class or during studio hire.

You must inform your instructor before class if you are pregnant, have an injury, or a health condition that may affect your participation.

    Studio Hire

The space must be returned clean and in the same condition it was found.

Any damage to the studio or equipment must be reported immediately and may be charged.

The space may not be sub-let or used for teaching unless prior agreement is made.

Hires must align with the studio’s values and be conducted in a respectful, inclusive manner.

    Behaviour and Conduct

Flying Foxes Studio reserves the right to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave for disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour.

Discrimination, harassment, or intimidation of any kind will not be tolerated.
